The following email from Simon in the West Midlands arrived in the Whissendine inbox:
I have been going through some of my late father’s possessions and found a picture of Whissendine that I thought may be of interest.
I have attached an image of the picture – please note; I have no interest in selling the picture – I am having it framed and will be keeping it.
It is a watercolour and is marked ‘Teigh Lane, Whissendine’ and is signed ‘Alan White’.
On the web I have found the following info
